Our Story
Hi, we are Kath and Michelle; and we are ELEMENT BECROFT.
With over 30 years combined experience in child protection, investigation of child protection and workplace misconduct matters, and the development and delivery of professional learning, we do things differently.
We’ve supported organisations through hundreds of investigations across NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD, and have seen the pressure of time take its toll on all involved. We know the time taken to complete an investigation has significant wellbeing, reputational and financial implications for an organisation.
We thought “there has to be a more timely way to service this need”, and this is how the formidable team of ELEMENT BECROFT was born.
Our mission is to provide a timely solution for your organisation’s child protection and workplace misconduct needs.
Our expertise is grounded in our skills gained throughout lengthy careers within the independent school sector, the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), NSW Police, and the Joint Child Protection Response Program (formerly JIRT). In fact, we have been working together since 2010, beginning in the JCPRP/JIRT team and then at the AISNSW, until we established ELEMENT BECROFT.
